DAY 1: Arrival to CMN airport to Fes
Welcome to the coastal city of Casablanca. The biggest city in the Maghreb, Casablanca is the heart of Moroccan business.
After completing the immigration formality, your guide and driver will meet you outside the airport main gate, Then you will be transferred directly to visit Hassan II Mosque designed by the French architect Michel Pinseau. It is situated on a promontory looking out to the Atlantic, which can be seen through a gigantic glass floor with room for 25,000 worshippers. Its minaret is the world’s tallest at 210 meters. It is an enormous architectural masterpiece and the second-largest religious building in the world.
Then drive 4H via highway to Fes. Check-In and overnight at your hotel.
DAY 2: Fes Full day sightseeing
Today discover Fes medina, a UNESCO world heritage site. Starts with the mighty Dar El Makhzen which is the Royal Palace of Fes with it’s huge bronze entrance doors, Jewish and Andalusian Quarter, Pass by Bab Jdid, stop at Borj Sud for a panoramic view of the city.
Departure to the medina to visit Seffarin Square where you can see (and hear!) the metalworkers, On you, go through the snaking passageways to visit the outside of the famous Al-Quarawiyyine University, the oldest university in the world followed by the exotic aromatic spices and fresh, piled vegetables in the Attarine souk to the exquisitely decorated, Madrasa Attarine, pass by Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss to Nejjarin Square and its beautiful mozaic, and we finish the tour at Tannery Chouara.
At the end of the day, you will be dropped off at your accommodation for overnight.
DAY 3: Fes to Rabat via Volubilis
09:00 AM This day trip begins by crossing an agricultural region of cereals, legumes, and olive groves to discover a vast plain containing the ruins of Volubilis, a Roman city from the 1st century of the Christian era. An essential stop at Moulay Idriss Al Akbar, grandson of the Prophet Mohamed (s.a.w.s). This citadel is considered to be both the cradle of Sufism to Moroccan society as well as the first Islamic capital for the premier Arab dynasty. The city was created primarily for the indigenous population that migrated with Moulay Idris from the Middle East.
Then you are transferred to Rabat 3h via highway, you will be dropped off at your accommodation for overnight.
DAY 4: Rabat to Marrakech
09:00 AM Today Explore Rabat, a coastal city at the mouth of the Bou Regreg River, neighboring Salé.
During your tour, delve into Rabat’s history while marveling at its stunning architecture, including domes, minarets, and lush greenery. Begin at the picturesque Almohad northern walls of the Oudaïa Kasbah Relax in the Andalusian garden before exploring the medina’s labyrinthine souks, and the vibrant Rue des Consuls.
Experience seafood for lunch on the seaside, followed by visits to landmarks like the iconic Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Discover Ville Nouvelle’s modernity with wide boulevards, green spaces, and notable sites such as the Bank of Morocco. Then you are transferred 3H via highway to Marrakech and drop off at your hotel.
DAY 5: Marrakech monuments sightseeing
09:00 AM Today meet your guide and driver for a full-day visit to the red city, Your tour starts with Bahia Palace a 19th-century palace that boasts a large courtyard, beautiful fountains, tiles, ornate wall carvings, and gardens, and is excellent spot to find tranquility and marvel at traditional Moroccan craftsmanship.
Discover the Saadian Tombs are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The complex houses the tombs of seven sultans in total and 62 family members of the Saadian dynasty. This dynasty ruled in Morocco from 1549 to 1659. Under their reign, Marrakech rose to become the seat of government in 1554.
Followed by a Lunch break at your own expense then a stop quick stop The Madrasa Ben Youssef was built to serve the students of the mosque of the same name, located next to the Madrasa. Commissioned by Sultan Abdallah al-Ghalib, its construction was completed in 1565. It has 130 rooms which accommodated up to 900 students at the time.
Time to explore the colorful souks (marketplaces) of Marrakech. Each trade – spices, carpets, jewelry, enamel, copper, brass, and cedar – is situated in its unique quarter. From here we discover the hidden gem of the old Medina in which everything is surprisingly different. The people, the smells and the, the fresh mint, and the medicinal and aromatic herbs as well as the labyrinth of the old city. Each area inside MEDINA has its character.
And we finish the tour at the frenetic Djemaa el Fnaa square. It provides ever-changing entertainment, reaching its climax at sunset when the square is alive with storytellers, healers, snake charmers, acrobats, and countless food stalls.
DAY 6: Marrakech Gardens
09:00 AM Today you will visit Marrakech famous gardens starting with, the Menara Garden, created in the middle of the 12th century learn about the unique irrigation system designed to provide water to the surrounding area via underground channels from the artificial lake.
Afterword’s visit the Majorelle Gardens, designed by the French artist Jacques Majorelle. Enjoy this haven of peace in the city of Marrakech and explore the magnificent tropical garden with its fountains, pools, bamboo forests, cacti, and much more. Inside the gardens, there is the Berber Museum dedicated to Berber culture where you will learn a lot about this very ancient and rich culture and heritage through their hand-made crafts, Berber costumes, and old pictures. And we finish the tour with a Horse carriage ride around the Trendy areas of the new city which are known as Gueliz and Hivernage.
DAY 7: Marrakech Airport
Breakfast at the hotel. Then you will be transferred directly to the airport for your departure flight.
